Philoptochos’ Annual Christmas Tree Wish List Will Brighten the Holidays for Children at Trinity Youth Services
We need your help in making children’s wishes come true! Sponsored by Philoptochos, the Christmas Tree Wish List is an annual event where gifts are collected for the children at Trinity Youth Services.
One of our outreach organizations that we support is Trinity Youth Services in Long Beach. Every day, Trinity is helping children and healing families through the foster care program. Join us as we endeavor to break the cycle and embrace the future!
How to Give
Look for our Christmas tree in the Narthex, which is decorated with star ornaments. On the stars, you will see the child’s name, age, gender, and the item she/he has requested. There is a limit of $25 per gift.
Trinity has requested the gifts be unwrapped. Please place the item you purchased in a Christmas bag, unwrapped, and tape/staple the star on the item with the child’s name eligible to read. Put presents along the wall behind the tree.
The absolute deadline for receiving gifts is Sunday, December 10. Please support our ministry in making the holidays brighter for children coping with the effects of neglect. For questions, please contact the church office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
About Trinity Youth Services
Over 400,000 children each year are not able to live with their families as the result of abuse, neglect and abandonment. Since 1966, Trinity Youth Services has answered the call to this societal challenge by providing the safety and care children need, in foster homes and residential treatment settings, where they learn to cope with and heal from the trauma in their lives. Trinity strives to be the #1 choice in providing quality care for children and their families, with one goal in mind – permanency for children and families so they can create a better future.
