Little Lambs Assumption Long Beach – A Joyful Start for Your Child’s Faith Journey
Little Lambs Assumption Long Beach is a loving early childhood ministry designed for infants, toddlers, and caregivers who want to introduce their children to the Orthodox Christian faith in a warm, joyful, and welcoming environment.
At Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Long Beach, we believe faith begins early—not through pressure, but through joy, music, community, and shared experience. Little Lambs offers families a meaningful way to begin that journey together.
What Is Little Lambs Assumption Long Beach?
Little Lambs Assumption Long Beach is a ministry for children ages 40 days to 3 years old. It provides a safe and nurturing space where young children can explore the sights and sounds of the Church through age-appropriate activities alongside their parents, grandparents, or caregivers.
This program focuses on building familiarity, comfort, and a sense of belonging within the church community from the very beginning of a child’s life.
What Children Experience in Little Lambs Assumption Long Beach
Each session is thoughtfully designed to engage young minds and hearts. Activities include singing, storytelling, gentle movement, and simple crafts that reflect Orthodox traditions and values.
Children are encouraged to participate at their own pace, helping them build confidence while experiencing the joy of faith in a natural and playful way.
When and Where
Little Lambs Assumption Long Beach meets every Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on the first floor of the Sunday School rooms.
