Little Lambs Assumption Long Beach is a loving early childhood ministry designed for infants, toddlers, and caregivers who want to introduce their children to the Orthodox Christian faith in a warm, joyful, and welcoming environment.
At Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Long Beach, we believe faith begins early — not through pressure, but through joy, music, community, and shared experience.
When and Where
Wednesdays
10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Location
First floor of the Sunday School rooms
Age Range
Children ages 40 days to 3 years old, with a parent, grandparent, or caregiver.
What children experience
Each session is thoughtfully designed to engage young minds and hearts. Children are encouraged to participate at their own pace, helping them build comfort, confidence, and a sense of belonging in the Church.
For children
Little Lambs helps young children become familiar with the sights, sounds, people, and rhythms of the Church. It creates positive early memories that can grow with them as they become part of parish life.
For parents and caregivers
Families love Little Lambs because it creates connection — not just for children, but for caregivers as well. It is a place where friendships form, support is shared, and families grow deeper in their relationship with the Church.
