The Welcoming Committee is a ministry of parishioners who actively reach out to new visitors and help existing members deepen their connection to the church community.
From greeting guests at services to helping families learn more about parish life, the committee plays an important role in building a strong, united, and loving Orthodox Christian community in Long Beach.
For First-Time Visitors
We help visitors feel comfortable, answer questions, and offer a friendly presence as they experience Orthodox worship and parish life.
